How to Capture Your Brand While You Travel
Whether you’re a solo entrepreneur hopping between cities or you’re planning a retreat weekend with big goals and beautiful outfits, travel is one of the best ways to show your brand in motion. But how do you capture the content without a full crew in tow?
Here are my favorite ways to create intentional brand visuals while you’re on the go:
1. Bring the right tools. A portable tripod or stand that works with your iPhone is a game-changer. I love using it to grab simple walking videos, coffee shop moments, or outfit shots. I use this tripod here!
2. Plan a mini shot list. Think about 3-5 things you want to capture: your workspace, travel outfit, flat lay at your AirBnb, city scenes, or your favorite meals. This keeps you focused without interrupting the trip.
3. Don’t be afraid to get the shot. That moment when you're at a cute cafe and want a photo? Take it. Ask someone nearby. Set the timer. Be that person. Your brand deserves to be seen.
4. Use your surroundings. A charming street, a cozy hotel corner, or a rooftop view can instantly elevate your visual storytelling.
5. Capture your process, not just the result. Snap a pic of you editing, planning, or journaling. It brings personality to your content and gives people a peek behind the scenes.
Whether you’re traveling to see me in Nashville or creating content from afar, your brand travels with you. So document it with love.
